The 2017 Chambolle-Musigny La Combe d’Orveau "Cuvée Ultra" has an intense bouquet of red cherries, cranberry and orange peel aromas that unfold nicely in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins, a fine bead of acidity and a supple, raspberry preserve and cranberry-driven finish that feels elegant and composed. Very fine.

Chambolle-Musigny

Chambolle-Musigny, a prestigious appellation in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, is renowned for its elegant, aromatic Pinot Noir wines. Known for their finesse and complex aromas of red berries, violets, and earth, these wines are often described as the most "feminine" of Burgundy. The appellation's two Grand Cru vineyards, Bonnes Mares and Musigny, produce highly sought-after wines with depth and ageing potential. Notable producers include Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé, Domaine Georges Roumier, and Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier, all celebrated for their refined winemaking.
